“It's a very nice and complete tour, perfect to have a panoramic view of the city. Good to do it in the firsts days. The tour in the wine cellar It's very interesting and well explained. The only thing was that we hadn't been told what time we had to go back to the train after the visit and the stop at the wine shop...and the train left without us! No worries, they called it back and in 5 min it came to pick us up. Just make sure to ask at what time it will be leaving! The cruise It's nice as well, but without any explanation, it just…”

★★★★★★★★★★4.2 · 6 reviews · from $171

Douro Valley day trip from Porto: 5-wine tasting at a historic quinta, farm lunch, 2-hour cruise to Pinhão, then train back.

“Plus: wine and port tasting was very interesting, with explanations from Helena and a chat with Isabella (her jams are +++). The lunch was excellent and the owner very friendly. Minuses: no guide to explain the history of the region, our driver friendly but shy (perhaps language barrier ...). On the boat not too many developments / train: nice ride but we could have taken boat and train independently of the excursion by ourselves. Value for money not very well balanced.”
