“Our day tour was fantastic! Our guide, “Jesus,” was incredibly engaging and enjoyable. Each winery offered a unique experience and the knowledgeable staff provided a wealth of information about port wine. We also learned fascinating details about the wine regions and their distinct characteristics and some historical insights from our guide. The cancelled boat tour due to the weather was perfectly compensated with extra wine. Overall, it was a wonderful way to conclude our trip in Porto.”

“Luis was a great guide, very knowledgeable and attentive to everyone’s needs. The cruise was canceled due to extremely high water due to the unprecedented rain across Spain and Portugal this winter. Another wine tasting was added and added to the experience. Lunch was wonderful and the Ladies were amazing and very generous with food, wine and espresso! Beautiful terraced wineries all across the valley, an experience like no other!”

“Be prepared to taste a lot of wine! What you cannot prepared for are the views and the beauty of the Douro valley. Luis, our guide made the day. He knows the history of the region, so we could take in the scenery and understand learn at the same time. He was also so fun and made the day one of the most special days here in Portugal.”

“I wrote a longer review on tripadvisor, so I’ll keep this brief. The Douro valley is beautiful and its wines are great, so what really separates a fine tour from a great one are the people. This tour killed it in that respect. Zthe guides, Rita & Pedro, were great all day (not easy to do for what was basically a full workday), and the wineries we visited also had great people.”

“This tour takes you to key attractions in Porto. The tour guide was enthusiastic, patient, and knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The one drawback: there is a lot of downtime on the tour, mostly because of (a) waiting to get into the Lello bookstore, (b) allotting a half an hour for the visit - much more than needed and (c) following that visit with a coffee break. It did pick up pace after that, with the art deco McDonald’s and the San Benito train station. But it would be better, in my opinion, to schedule the coffee break at the halfway mark in the tour”

Tour of winery, tasting in the oak room was so cool, very informative and lunch with wine was the best! Had a lovely group of people too which made it such a good day! Highly recommend”
