“This was primarily to shuttle 4 of us from Porto to Lisbon with a stop at Fatima. The 3rd party provider that worked with Viator was great, promptly answering questions. The transportation promised was super comfortable, Miguel was prompt, and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful person to transport us and to share his experiences in traveling to Fatima and then on to Lisbon safely!”

“It was a very long day and for the first part of the tour (Fatima) the weather did not really help as it was pouring all day. I enjoyed Coimbra because of the weather and I just wished we had more time there to visit the well known library and roam around the streets. Walking from the university down to city center (the original plan) was far less interesting than driving around the city (which we did).”

“Mario was our driver. He was prompt and very responsive. He picked us from the hotel and we stopped at 3 points - Aveiro, Coimbra and Óbidos. Out of the 3, Obidos is the best spot and Coimbra is the worst. There is nothing in Coimbra. You can save some money by making it 2 stops or add another stop instead of this one. Mario helped us with the bags to the destination hotel. We talked a lot on the way. Ask for him as your driver if that’s an option.”

“Our tour with Claudio was more than we expected. He is an excellent tour guide who provides just the right amount of information. He is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. He made an excellent lunch recommendation in Fátima. When we arrived in Coimbra, he was able to accommodate a visit to the library which really made our day. We highly recommend the tour and Claudio is amazing.”

He is fluent in Portuguese and English and he took us to see everything we wanted to see in Fatima plus other things we didn’t know about, which were among the best aspects of our visit. He had a lovely, clean vehicle that was big enough to hold our ample luggage. He picked us up on time from our hotel in Porto and after our Fatima visit, took us to a great lunch spot and then dropped us at a different hotel in Aveiro. It was an outstanding tour.”

“Rodriguez was fantastic. He is a local and lives between Porto and Lisboa. He was very friendly and provided much local history and insight. He tailored the tour to suit our group and went out of his way to make us comfortable, even buying sweet eggs (the local delicacy) for us in Aveiro. We were able to experience authentic Portuguese cuisine for lunch at a restaurant near his home. He knew all the tricks to get us in and out of various locations without a hassle. Our group spend over 9 hours with him and it was a totally enjoyable experience. I could not recommend more highly.”
