Walking from the university down to city center (the original plan) was far less interesting than driving around the city (which we did).”

“Mario was our driver. He was prompt and very responsive. He picked us from the hotel and we stopped at 3 points - Aveiro, Coimbra and Óbidos. Out of the 3, Obidos is the best spot and Coimbra is the worst. There is nothing in Coimbra. You can save some money by making it 2 stops or add another stop instead of this one. Mario helped us with the bags to the destination hotel. We talked a lot on the way. Ask for him as your driver if that’s an option.”
