“Local pickup at my place was a great start - arrived on time. We picked up another group in town, then headed towards the bridge, stopping for breakfast sweets and coffee. Due to the recent fires, the steps were not yet open, so we walked to the bridge and crossed once to get to the walkway, which worked out well for our group. The walkway was a bit damp, and a touch slippery, due to the rain, but handrails helped. After meeting the guide towards the end of the walkway, we walked to a local restaurant and had a fantastic meal - some of the best veal I’ve ever had.…”

“An experience to remember! João our tour guide was amazing. Every step of the way was enjoying. The day was perfect for this activity. The sites at Arouca suspension bridge along with the Paiva walkways were amazing. Too bad we couldn’t take a dip in the river… João was very engaging and full of historical facts along with having a witty humor. Very knowledgeable about Portugal. He also gave us a perfect LOCAL restaurant to try the famous Francesinhas at O Bom Amar restaurante! “We booked the tour with Miguel and Pinto and one day later we are still thrilled by this experience. It was all about adventure, pushing your limits and feeling free and happy. All that surrounded by great panorama and two really committed and sympathetic guides that made us feel save the whole time. Our highlight was the jump from the rocks at a height of eight meters down to a crystal clear little lake. We strongly recommend it to every person who likes a little adventure within their holiday.
